In addition, there is an ever-evolving brand series that is sure to impress discerning connoisseurs with exceptional taste and rich experience. ACC History The history of ACC dates back to 1952 when Mr. Jose Aray started in a small tobacco-growing area in Ecuador. Mr. Aray began from humble beginnings in the cultivation and trade of tobacco leaves and keenly recognized the business opportunities in the cigar industry, thus acquiring several plots of farmland in Guayas Province, Ecuador. In 1954, Mr. Aray met Mr. Guillermo de la Portilla, an immigrant from Cuba, who brought not only generations of ancestral Cuban cigar-making techniques but also precious varieties of Cuban tobacco seeds and leaves to Mr. Aray's family. Mr. Portilla and Mr. Aray began cultivating tobacco on their Paulina estate, where the climate, soil quality, and sunlight conditions were ideal for growing top-quality tobacco. In 1967, Mr. Jose Aray successfully cultivated different tobacco varieties from Cuba and Sumatra into what is now widely sought after globally as the standard Ecuadoran Sumatra cigar leaf. ACC Craftsmanship Every cigar produced by ACC is meticulously rolled using the nearly lost classic "Entubado" technique. Even though other manufacturing processes dominate today's cigar industry, ACC maintains efficiency while preserving classic methods. ACC has abandoned the use of purely manual machines, as the practice of quickly bundling tobacco leaves can lead to uneven internal tobacco distribution and a lack of tight structure, which experienced cigar enthusiasts consider a reason for uneven ash burn. All ACC cigars are crafted using hand bundling and the "Triple Cap" rolling technique, thus avoiding the poor experience of loose outer leaves during combustion. Aging Process At ACC, we have been fermenting and aging tobacco leaves for years, a feat that many world-renowned cigar brands cannot match. After the cigars are hand-rolled in our own factory, we conduct an additional aging process on the finished cigars, resulting in a richer flavor. Due to the complexity and lengthy nature of the handmade process, this procedure is extremely challenging for manufacturers of other well-known brands. True cigar aficionados know that the slow natural fermentation process after the tobacco leaves are harvested, combined with the aging process and sealed humidors, are all essential conditions for a good cigar. Our premium aged cigars can have an aging period of 3 to 12 years or even longer. Luxury Lifestyle ACC not only specializes in cigar production but also frequently collaborates with other renowned high-end luxury brands to organize and sponsor various exclusive high-end events, including whiskey and cigar dinners, private jets, yachts, supercars, rare watches, and high-end fashion. If you want to host a high-end event that leaves guests with unforgettable memories, then ACC is undoubtedly the top choice in the cigar category.
