Tatuaje

Tatuaje is a cigar brand known for its handmade cigars. The brand was created by Pete Johnson, the owner of Tatuaje cigars. In close consultation with José Garcia, Tatuaje was created at the El Rey de los Habanos factory in Miami, Florida, with production based at the Cuban Tobacco Company (TACUBA) in Estelí, Nicaragua. In Spanish, tatuaje means 'tattoo,' a name that reflects Pete Johnson's own tattoos. The cigar brand was developed collaboratively by Pete and Don Pepin, a partnership that Pete has always sought for close collaboration. Tatuaje is Don Pepin's first cigar brand that he owns himself. Tatuaje cigars are known for their rich flavors, but with varying strengths. All Tatuaje-produced cigars are Nicaraguan puro (made with tobacco grown exclusively in Nicaragua). The brand includes four different cigar lines and, of course, also produces several limited edition models specifically for certain retailers.
