Aging room

Founded by Rafael Nodal in 2011, he immigrated from Cuba with his family at the age of 16. Before entering the cigar industry, he worked in healthcare and met a mental health therapist, Hank Bischoff, who was interested in Cuban culture, becoming his current partner. In the 1990s, Nodal had lunch with Bischoff and Nick Perdomo, where he was introduced to the joys of cigar culture. In 1998, he launched a website selling cigars from Miami manufacturers and later took over the parent company of Oliveros, HabanaCuba Cigar Co, to further his career. Now, AR's cigars are rolled by Jochy Blanco at the Tabacalera La Palma factory located in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, with some also produced in Nicaragua at the factories of Nestor Plasencia Jr. and AJ Fernandez.
