J.C. Newman Cigar Company was founded by Julius Caeser Newman in 1895. J.C. is the oldest family-owned premium cigar manufacturer in the United States. Located in the National Historic Landmark District of Tampa, Florida, it has a historic iconic cigar factory. Over the years, the company has focused on perfect quality rather than speed and quantity. In 1995, the Newman family launched the ultra-premium cigar line Diamond Crown to commemorate the 100th anniversary of their family business and a century of cigar making, developing an extraordinary line of super premium cigars in collaboration with the legendary Carlos Fuente. Each Diamond Crown cigar undergoes three rigorous quality standard checks before public release and is aged for at least 12 months, handcrafted by Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic.
