Flor de Selva

Maya Selva, a French woman of Honduran descent, had a dream of creating a product that was 100% made in Honduras, and then she thought of cigars. With the help of Nestor Plasencia, she established Maya Selva Cigars in France in 1995 and launched her first cigar brand - Flor de Selva, bringing the terroir of Honduras to France, and she is also the only female cigar producer. The cigars under Flor de Selva are handcrafted in Honduras and are made from the finest tobacco leaves from Honduras and Nicaragua personally selected by Maya Selva. Subsequently, she launched the Cumpay cigar in 1999 and the Villa Zamorano in 2002, both of which made a significant impact in the cigar world upon their release.
