Both Garcia and Abajian entered the cigar industry through cigar retail, with Abajian's family having decades of experience in cigar retail in California, operating three cigar shops in the state, while Garcia also had a career in professional baseball. The Jake Wyatt brand relies on the previous experiences of Garcia and Abajian, and their core regular production series includes six unique blends, all hand-rolled at Tabacalera JVM in Tamboril, Dominican Republic: Fourth Dimension, Appendix II, Lucid Interval, Lithium, Herbert Spencer, and U.S.I.R. Jake Wyatt cigars draw inspiration from the personal lives and experiences of Garcia and Abajian, with each box containing 22 cigars, paying tribute to the tradition of three generations of Garcia baseball players wearing that jersey. Each series features limited edition cigars, and Jake Wyatt's blending philosophy focuses on medium flavors, emphasizing balance, subtle nuances, and an overall smoothness, with many cigars featuring razor-thin wrappers that add layers and complexity.
