The history of La Aroma De Cuba dates back to the late 1880s in Cuba, where it was originally a Cuban brand founded by Ashton. Recently, it invited cigar master José Pepín García to recreate and blend the cigars, and it was relaunched in 2009, quickly becoming one of the popular cigar brands on the market. García was responsible for the blending of leaves for brands like H. Upmann, Montecristo, and Partagas in the 1990s, and he has also been a consultant for several cigar manufacturers.
