Meerapfel

Meerapfel has been involved in and active in the cigar industry for centuries, dating back to the 16th century. A tobacco producer, they have long specialized in producing West African tobacco leaves from Cameroon, which are valued for their rarity and flavor. In 1876, they created their own hand-rolled cigars in Germany, marking 150 years of tradition. Production came to a halt during World War II. Nevertheless, a few years later, the Meerapfel family continued to be active in the cigar world by establishing an international cigar distribution network bearing their name. The cigars launched today under the name Meerapfel Cigar signify a return to their roots and a revival of an ancient family tradition.
