AboutMombacho
Mombacho - named after the volcano near Granada, Nicaragua - is a young cigar brand located in the heart of Nicaragua. Unlike most of its competitors in Estelí, three young Canadians and an Italian chose to settle in Granada. Granada has a rich history and a renowned past. It was the first city established by the Spaniards on the mainland of Latin America around 1524, and it still retains its character and colonial architecture today. Casa Favilli, the home of one of Granada's most important urban architects of the 19th century, is now the headquarters and manufacturing facility of Mombacho Cigar Company. After careful restoration, the factory produces over 400,000 cigars each year and is also open to visitors interested in touring. In addition to classic lines such as Mombacho Liga Maestro or Mombacho Tierra Volcan, Mombacho Cigars launched the cigar series 'Mombacho Cosecha' in 2012, named after the tobacco harvest year. The first edition was Mombacho Cosecha 2012, which not only features a perfect finish but also has wonderful flavors.
