Padron

PADRON was founded by Jose O. Padron in 1964 in Miami, Florida, and has been producing high-priced cigars with longer filler ever since. It has two companies in Central America, one being Tabacos Cubanica S.A. in Nicaragua and the other Tabacos Centro-americanos S.A. in Honduras. Padron Cigars is one of the few companies that can control every aspect of the cigar production process, focusing on quality over quantity, which is mainly reflected in the two cigar lines currently produced. Padron cigars come in 12 sizes, all made with natural or dark brown wrappers, crafted with care, and offer a mild to medium-rich flavor. The 1964 Anniversary series from Padron has fewer sizes and limited production. All tobacco is sourced from Nicaragua, aged for at least 4 years, and uses natural-colored leaves for the wrappers, providing a medium-rich flavor that draws smoothly with earthy notes. PADRON itself has a great reputation, with its products frequently ranking among the top in CA, and due to limited production, there is a supply-demand imbalance in the market. Its products have a unique 'cellar' aroma that lingers in the air, a scent not found in other cigars.
