Ashton Crystal Tubes No. 1 cigar, with 10 pieces per box, is a Lonsdale shape, measuring 166mm in length and a ring gauge of 44. This is a part of Ashton's classic series and is the only one packaged in crystal tubes, featuring a torpedo shape. Known for its mild flavor, it is made with Dominican tobacco for the wrapper and filler, aged for 3-4 years to enhance its richness. The golden, oily wrapper comes from Connecticut shade tobacco, exuding flavors of toasted almonds and coffee beans, with sweetness and mild spiciness lingering in the finish. This series is suitable for beginners and can also be enjoyed as an everyday cigar. It received a high score of 90 from Cigar Aficionado magazine in 2018, made in the Dominican Republic, with a Connecticut shade wrapper, featuring flavors of toasted almonds, coffee beans, cream, and mild spiciness.
