The history of this cigar dates back to before 1960, but specific information about its early days may be difficult to verify in detail. However, it is certain that before around 2005, this cigar was unmarked, and after that, it was uniformly identified with the standard E label. Over time, the brand made a significant adjustment in 2008 by adding the subtitle 'Special Epicure No.1' to this cigar. This change not only gave the cigar a new identity and positioning but also further enhanced its market recognition and collectible value. In terms of packaging, this cigar's 15-count soft paper box packaging appeared around 2003, and it was replaced with a new soft paper box packaging in 2011. There was also a 50-count side-push wooden box packaging, but production ceased in 2010.
