In 2015, Sichuan Zhongyan launched the Great Wall (Zodiac Edition) vintage cigars, with the label design inspired by China's traditional culture of the twelve zodiac signs. Each year, a cigar themed around the zodiac of that year is released, presented in a line drawing style, vividly laser-engraved to showcase zodiac culture on the natural wood-colored box. The filler is blended from high-quality tobaccos from Shifang, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and the United States, while the binder uses high-quality tobacco from Cuban varieties, complemented by a rare beige high-quality wrapper. Utilizing a unique oak barrel fermentation technique, it removes impurities from the tobacco and enhances the aroma, achieving the best quality. The tobaccos are aged for over three years, resulting in a mild and comfortable taste with delicate and smooth aromas. Each cigar is hand-rolled by the four master artisans of the '132 Group,' crafted with care and precision. With an annual release of 2000 boxes, it is a globally limited collectible. The Zodiac Year Vintage Cigar is launched every year during the Spring Festival, commemorating the Chinese Lunar New Year, welcoming the new spring with cigar enthusiasts, and perfectly integrating Chinese zodiac culture with cigar culture, truly embodying the 'Chinese style' within cigars. Scored 89 points in the Spring 2021 Cigar Journal blind tasting, it holds significant commemorative and collectible value, making it perfect for gifting or as a collectible cigar.
