2017 marked a significant moment for Habanos in the strategic reshaping of the Quai D'Orsay brand, during which two striking new cigars, Quai d'Orsay No. 50 and Quai d'Orsay No. 54, were launched. These two cigars not only enriched the Quai D'Orsay product line but also showcased the brand's new interpretation and pursuit of the art of cigars. The Quai d'Orsay No. 50 measures 110mm in length with a ring gauge of 50, featuring the exclusive D'Orsay 50 logo. It comes in two packaging forms: one is a semi-natural wooden box containing 10 exquisite cigars; the other is a similarly styled wooden box holding 25 cigars. Upon first sniff, this cigar emits a charming sweet herbal aroma, skillfully blended with warm baking spices. During the cold draw, it reveals a hint of light vanilla and citrus flavors, fresh and elegant. After lighting, the cigar's character further elevates, with the freshness of cedar and rich floral notes intertwining, underpinned by a silky smooth cream base, maintaining a wonderful balance of strength and body in a mild and moderate range. As the tasting deepens, reaching the last third of the cigar, the richness of hazelnut and the sweetness of bread come forth, while the citrus and vanilla freshness return, perfectly blending with an indescribable sweetness, weaving a feast for the taste buds that lingers on.
