The tobacco for this cigar is grown in private plantations in Ecuador, where the cloud cover cleverly filters sunlight. After harvesting, the leaves are placed in the Fuente factory's specialized fermentation rooms, undergoing 4-5 years of fermentation until they reach the standard color and oiliness before being rolled. In 1999, the Ashton VSG series was launched, quickly attracting the affection of many cigar enthusiasts. It has frequently appeared on Cigar Aficionado magazine's lists, with a top score of 94. This series of cigars contains flavors of cedar, earth, coffee beans, and leather, which are perfectly blended across various shapes.
