Description
Work Features
This piece is inspired by Cemi, an important indigenous deity. It alludes to the anecdote of discovering an ancient Cemi statue within a cohesive, compact, and modern object. This suggestion embodies the connection between the old and the new. Cohiba is a brand with extremely modern characteristics, yet it also references a tradition that dates back to ancient times, namely the "cohoba" ritual performed by our ancestors. Its shape is a black prism, divided in half, creating a focal point at the center where metal sculptures and gold and silver craftsmanship are displayed. It has 16 drawers, accommodating 600 Havana cigars, and has two spaces for sealed boxes.
It contains 550 Havana cigars, including: 20 Cohiba BHK 56, 20 Cohiba BHK 54, 20 Cohiba BHK 52, 20 Coronas Especiales, 20 Esplendidos, 20 Genios, 20 Lanceros, 20 Magicos, 20 Medio Siglo, 20 Pirámides Extra, 20 Robustos, 20 Maravillas, 30 Majestuosos 58, 20 Double Coronas, 20 Siglo II, 20 Siglo IV, 20 Siglo V, 20 Siglo VI, 20 Talismán, 20 Aromosos, 20 Sublimes Extra, 20 Piramides, 20 Gran Corona, 20 Robusto Especial, 20 Robustos Supremos, 20 Cohiba 1966, and 20 Novedosos (CDH + HS).
