Description

This humidor combines a vintage and modern feel. It consists of a cylindrical shape surrounded by a wooden panel with openwork decorations that replicate the structure of tobacco leaves, visually connecting with the top of the piece, creating an aesthetic simplicity and enhanced comfort. The shape of the cylinder aims to evoke associations with Havana cigars through its truncated tubular form. At the highest point is the entrance of the "Friends of Monterey" plantation, completing the work beautifully. The front of this piece features 12 drawers, accommodating 370 Havana cigars. The humidor is made from precious woods such as cedar, Okoume, and mahogany, following very intricate woodworking techniques. Its metal parts are made of bronze, with impeccable surface treatment, ensuring ideal storage conditions for the Havana cigars. It contains 370 Havana cigars, including: 20 Epicure Especial, 20 Epicure De Luxe, 20 Obsequios, 20 Short Hov Piramides, 20 Le Hoyo de San Juan, 50 Elegantes (CDH), 20 Petit Belicosos, 20 Doble Coronas, 20 Le Hoyo de Rio Seco, 20 Particulares, 20 Piramides, 20 Extravaganza, 20 Colozales, 20 Churchills, 20 Belicosos No.1, 20 Regalos, and 20 Grand Epicure. Humidor dimensions: height 150 cm; diameter 90 cm; materials: cedar, mahogany, and Okoume. Author information: Designed by Jackmel Llera Cotarelo. Manufactured by Grupo Caoma: a team of craftsmen and artists who bring together their experience in creating acclaimed designs and executing works, primarily dedicated to the field of Cuban cigars. Its representative is José Antonio González Rodríguez, a master woodworker and a member of the Cuba Association of Artisans and Artists. Since 2013, he has participated in the production of other auction items for Habanos, S.A., and his work is recognized by smokers and collectors. All these Havana cigars are fully handcrafted, using long filler. The tobacco leaves used for the filler and wrapper come from the Vuelta Abajo region. They are characterized by a blend of light and medium flavors.
